A Message from HIMSS Northern CA President, Jason Johnson, FHIMSS

Want to join the board of the most forward-thinking chapter of the world's largest healthtech non-profit?

We're seeking seasoned digital marketers and growth hackers with an interest in shaping the future of Silicon Valley's healthtech scene to join our board.

People join our board for a variety of reasons: to meet like-minded professionals, get insider knowledge on the thriving healthtech field, to advance their careers or just to give back to the community.

When I joined HIMSS as a Board Volunteer in 2014, I was working IT Support at Marin General Hospital. In the years that followed I made lifelong friends, honed my craft and helped organize some amazing events with speakers like John Chambers and Toby Cosgrove.

More than anything, I was amazed at how willing senior members were to show me the ropes and introduce me to folks a young IT dude wouldn’t have had the chance to meet otherwise.
Now, almost 6 years later, as the President of our thriving chapter and the recently appointed Sr. Industry Specialist at Amazon, it feels like things have come full circle. I can say without a doubt that joining HIMSS remains one of the best decisions I've ever made - professionally and socially.

Our organization has now reached an inflexion point and we need a seasoned marketer to help get the word out to a wider audience.
